How to Leave a Bequest

It is recommended that you obtain professional legal advice from your solicitor, State, Public or Company Trustee when preparing your Will to be certain that the statements in your Will are correct.

The following information is provided in order to assist in the preparation of bequests to Multicap in your Will:

Appropriate wording in the case of a specific legacy
a) as to the sum of $............... for MULTICAP of 269 Padstow Road, Eight Mile Plains Qld, Queensland for the general purposes of MULTICAP.  I declare that the receipt of the Secretary of MULTICAP or other authorised officer of MULTICAP for the time being will be a sufficient discharge to my executor.  My executor will not be obliged to see to the application of the funds;

Appropriate wording where a residuary bequest is intended
b) as to the sum of $............... for MULTICAP of 269 Padstow Road Eight Mile Plains Qld, Queensland for the provision of ............... by MULTICAP.  I declare that the receipt of the Secretary of MULTICAP or other authorised officer of MULTICAP for the time being will be a sufficent discharge to my executor. My executor will not be obliged to see to the application of the funds.
