Caroline Girdler
Caroline is a young, pop art-inspired artist in Brisbane. She has been contributing to Monte Lupo since 2011. Caroline has a stronge knowledge of screen printing, sculpting, glazing and painting. Caroline is very keen on Japanese animation which provides her a great number of ideas in relation to her artwork. She also gains inspiration from mother nature, fashion illustration and video games, and her paintings and drawings reflect this interest.
Caroline has a strong sense of colour and the juxtaposition between the placement of colours. This inate sense for colour enhances her patterning skills, producing an almost patchwork quality to her work. Caroline will rise to the challenge of new ideas in relation to her artwork. She looks forward to expressing her creative ideas into artworks.
